As always, the feathers are perfection. As always, customer service is wonderfully responsive. But as too often happens, shipping takes forever. Last week I actually received two orders. One was a surprise, because it had taken so long, I actually forgot about it, and ordered more. Both came the same week. I can always use more feathers, but I would be very happy if shipping times were more reliable.
Happy with the quality of the feathers over all. However, me and my dance partner ordered the same color of feathers “coral” and mine arrived and they were more hot pink and did not match my costume which was disappointing. Hers were the actual coral color that we ordered.
Feathers are great! I really appreciate the personal attention to my order---making sure I get those nice, floppy ends! If I have a quibble at all, it would be that shipping is so random. Sometimes it comes super fast, sometimes I wait and wait and wait. Makes it a little hard to plan ahead.
The Ostrich Plume Feathers are glorious! Long, lush, beautiful! The nicest ostrich feathers I’ve ever purchased. The Long Drab feathers, however, aren’t quite as nice a quality as I had hoped. Would not stop me from buying more Plumes, but would certainly look elsewhere for the Long Drabs.

I was a bit disappointed that half the calamus of the feathers from this order were too flimsy to use in "bridle head gear". The colors were perfect.
I'm always satisfied with the quality of feathers I buy from Fancy Feather. I noticed the plumes were no longer sold in packs, only individually, and the longer, 24"-27" wing plumes were no longer available, which is disappointing.

Very nice, and I will order again. I would have given the full five stars if a few of the plumes hadn't been less full and droopy than I like. I use femina plumes for my 18th and 19th century reproduction hats, and have yet to find a source that doesn't always throw in a few duds with every order. Some are not even usable. I know it's a natural product and absolute consistency is not possible, but I can't help wanting what I want! Shipping could have been a little quicker as well.
