Refund policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
FancyFeather.com reserves the right to apply cancellation fees to orders that are cancelled in whole or in part after submission.
By placing an order and providing payment and shipping information, you authorize us to begin processing your order. Once processing begins, administrative, payment processing, inventory allocation, production scheduling, warehouse handling, and fulfillment costs may be incurred.
STANDARD PRODUCTS
If your order contains standard, non-custom merchandise and is cancelled after it has been released to our warehouse for fulfillment, a cancellation fee of twenty percent (20%) of the cancelled merchandise value, with a minimum fee of $20.00, may be applied.
If your order is awaiting payment verification, fraud review, customer confirmation, or other information requested from you, and you choose to cancel the order before fulfillment begins, a cancellation fee of ten percent (10%) of the cancelled merchandise value, with a minimum fee of $10.00, may be applied.
CUSTOM-MADE AND SPECIAL-ORDER PRODUCTS
The following products are considered custom-made or special-order items:
• Custom-dyed feathers
• Two-tone or three-tone dyed feathers
• Custom-made ostrich boas
• Burlesque fans
• Ostrich fans
• Special-order merchandise
• Any product manufactured, assembled, dyed, sourced, or modified specifically for a customer order
If a custom-made or special-order item is cancelled within twenty-four (24) hours of order placement, a cancellation fee of ten percent (10%) of the cancelled merchandise value may be applied.
If a custom-made or special-order item is cancelled more than twenty-four (24) hours after order placement, a cancellation fee of up to fifty percent (50%) of the cancelled merchandise value may be applied due to labor, materials, production scheduling, sourcing, and manufacturing costs already incurred.
ORDERS WE CANNOT FULFILL
If FancyFeather.com is unable to fulfill your order due to inventory shortages, discontinued products, supplier issues, or any other reason within our control, no cancellation fee will apply.
In such cases, we will issue a full refund of all amounts paid, including any shipping charges collected for unavailable merchandise.
RIGHT TO REFUSE CANCELLATION
Once an order has shipped, it may no longer be cancelled and will instead be subject to the applicable Return Policy.
PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES
Cancellation fees may include unrecoverable payment processing fees charged by payment processors, merchant service providers, credit card companies, PayPal, Shop Pay, or other payment platforms, in addition to administrative and fulfillment costs.
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
FancyFeather.com reserves the right to correct any typographical errors, pricing errors, product description errors, inventory discrepancies, or other inaccuracies at any time without prior notice. All products, pricing, availability, and specifications are subject to change without notice.
Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).
RETURNS POLICY
If you wish to return your order or part of your order, you must notify FancyFeather.com by email or telephone within ten (10) days of the delivery date. Requests received after ten (10) days from delivery may be declined at our sole discretion.
If your order was shipped internationally, you may not have the permits required to export feathers or animal products back to the United States. Any international return shipment is made entirely at your own risk and will only be considered if the merchandise is successfully received by FancyFeather.com.
Upon approval of your return request, FancyFeather.com will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number.
Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or subject to a minimum restocking fee of fifty percent (50%).
RETURN CONDITIONS
All returned merchandise must:
• Be unused and in its original condition
• Be returned in its original packaging where applicable
• Not be altered, damaged, or modified by the customer
• Include the issued RMA number
Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to additional restocking fees.
RESTOCKING FEES
Natural feather products returned in quantities of fewer than ten (10) items may be accepted without a restocking fee, subject to inspection.
A minimum restocking fee of twenty-five percent (25%) applies to all dyed items accepted for return, with a minimum charge of $10.00.
For larger quantity returns, the following minimum restocking fees apply:
• More than 10 items: 30%
• More than 25 items: 50%
• More than 100 items: 60%
These fees reflect the labor involved in hand-selecting, processing, dyeing, steaming, packaging, and restocking feather products.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
• Custom-made products
• Custom-dyed feathers
• Ostrich boas
• Ostrich fans
• Marabou fans
• Special-order merchandise
• Leather products
• Defective feathers sold as "defective"
• Clearance, sale, batch surplus, or closeout merchandise
• Products sold "as-is"
Because ostrich boas, fans, and many specialty feather products are individually assembled and custom manufactured, returns will only be accepted if the merchandise received is materially different from the item ordered.
At our sole discretion, we may approve certain returns that do not otherwise qualify for return; however, applicable restocking fees will apply.
EXPEDITED PROCESSING AND SHIPPING
If you request same-day, rush, or expedited order processing and subsequently return the merchandise, such processing charges are non-refundable if the order was processed within the requested timeframe.
If you purchase expedited shipping and the carrier fails to meet its published service guarantee, we will refund the applicable shipping charges once the carrier confirms the service failure.
FAILED DELIVERY OR REFUSED SHIPMENTS
If delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect the shipment, or any other customer-related reason, the order may be returned to us.
Returned shipments are subject to a minimum restocking fee of fifty percent (50%). Original shipping charges and any return shipping charges incurred will not be refunded.
If you wish to have the merchandise re-shipped, you must notify us within ten (10) business days of our receipt of the returned package and pay all applicable shipping charges.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If merchandise arrives damaged, defective, or differs materially from what was ordered, please contact us within five (5) business days and provide photographs and a description of the issue.
Upon verification, FancyFeather.com may, at its sole discretion, provide a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund.
CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is the direct result of our error or a verified product defect.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
International sales are final.
No international returns are accepted.
DISPUTES AND ORDER ISSUES
If you experience any issue with your order, please contact FancyFeather.com by email or telephone before initiating a chargeback or third-party dispute.
Please provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue, including photographs where applicable. Most issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently through our customer service team.
Please allow up to seven (7) business days for us to investigate and respond.
If we determine that merchandise was damaged during shipment, defective, or materially different from the product ordered, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund.
Our goal is to resolve all customer concerns fairly and professionally. We encourage customers to contact us directly so that we have the opportunity to address any issue before a formal dispute is filed with a payment provider or financial institution.
