I used the feathers to add a little extra length to my mini dress. They looked great and people loved them! I got a ton of compliments! I did two layers of the 2-ply feathers and achieved full opacity. They also didn’t fall out or shed basically at all, really, and felt like great quality!
I wish I could share a better picture. Basically, we loved the fullness and quality of the feathers, but the dye was not set at all. It rubs off with just holding it for a short time or brushing up against it very lightly. So I have lost lots of money on this project trying to go back and set the feathers post build while trying to salvage the dress. So. I would be excited to order again, but only if there is a guarantee that the dye in the feathers would be set better.

I ordered the ostrich trim in three colors. I used them to test on a couple of my hat projects. I like the length and fullness. I plan to order more in other colors soon.

i bought 2 yards of black ostrich feather trim with tape and it is by far the best ostrich feathers i could find. i bought 15 yards from amazon for this sewing project i’m working on and they are just horrible. bald, thin, super spaced out, but these feathers are the complete opposite. the fact that i had to spend at least $50 to checkout made me nervous but it was totally worth it. i’ll definitely be buying 4 more yards!

I’m a customer for many years The white boas I bought smelled terrible I have washed them twice — it was moth balls but worse. I’m so sorry to tell you but it was just to much of a hassle to send them back with Cutoms. The Yellow fringe was fine.
