Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy
At FancyFeather.com, we want every customer to be delighted with their purchase. We take great pride in supplying premium natural feathers and handcrafted feather products to designers, performers, event professionals, businesses, and creative makers around the world.
If something isn't right with your order, we're committed to working with you to find a fair solution.
Return Eligibility
If you wish to return an eligible item, please contact us within 10 calendar days of receiving your order to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
To qualify for a return:

Items must be unused and in their original condition.

Products must be returned in their original packaging whenever possible.

Feathers must not have been trimmed, cut, glued, sewn, steamed, curled, dyed, altered, or otherwise modified.

Products must be free from smoke, perfume, makeup, glitter, adhesives, pet hair, or any other signs of use.

The customer is responsible for securely packaging returned items to prevent damage during transit.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or were supplied in error:

Custom-made products.
-
Custom-dyed feathers.
-
Special-order merchandise.
-
Products manufactured to customer specifications.
-
Custom feather fans or costume pieces.
-
Cut feather trims or products sold by custom length.
-
Clearance, closeout, discontinued, or final-sale items.

Gift cards.
-
Any product showing signs of use or alteration.
Natural Feather Variations
Because genuine feathers are natural products, variations in colour, size, fullness, texture, shape, and natural markings are normal characteristics and are not considered defects.
Returns based solely on these natural variations cannot be accepted.
Likewise, slight variations in dyed feather shades that fall within normal commercial dyeing tolerances are not grounds for return unless a specific approved colour standard formed part of the order.
Change of Mind Returns
If your purchase qualifies for return under this policy, a refund will be issued less any original shipping charges and applicable restocking fees.
The following restocking fees may apply:

Standard stocked merchandise: up to 15%

Wholesale or bulk orders: up to 20%
-
Special handling or repackaging may incur additional reasonable charges where applicable.
Exchanges
Eligible products may be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value, subject to stock availability.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges unless the exchange results from our error.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect:

Notify us within 5 business days of delivery.

Include clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping carton, and shipping label.

Retain all original packaging until your claim has been resolved.
Once we have reviewed the claim, we may, at our discretion:

Replace the product,

Repair the product where appropriate,

Issue a store credit, or
-
Provide a refund.
International Orders
FancyFeather.com proudly ships worldwide.
International customers are responsible for:

Import duties
-
Customs fees
-
VAT, GST, or other local taxes

Brokerage charges imposed by their country
These charges are not refundable by FancyFeather.com.
If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned because customs charges were not paid, because import documentation was not completed, or because delivery could not be completed, any refund will be reduced by:

Customs fees

Carrier charges

Any additional costs incurred by FancyFeather.com
Shipping Costs
Unless the return results from our error or a verified manufacturing defect, shipping charges are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and assume the risk of loss or damage until the returned goods are received by FancyFeather.com.
For higher-value returns, we recommend using a fully insured and trackable shipping service.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment whenever possible.
Please allow approximately 5-10 business days after the returned goods have been received and inspected for your refund to be processed.
Processing times for banks and payment providers may vary.
Event Dates & Time-Sensitive Purchases
Many of our customers purchase feathers for weddings, performances, fashion shows, theatre productions, festivals, competitions, and other scheduled events.
Customers are responsible for ordering sufficiently in advance to allow for production, shipping, customs clearance, and any unforeseen carrier delays.
Refunds or compensation cannot be provided for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, weather, labour disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
