Striped chinchilla coque feathers are rooster feathers sewn onto a fringe, or sometimes called strung. The feathers are not super floppy- but not stiff. Most often used for carnival, headresses, jewelry, floral bouquets, mask making, cuffs, collars, hair accessories and even boot and glove adornments! The feathers will be a mix of light and dark natural brown, with some black and cream tones, some feathers will have more prominent markings than others. Bright colors show up best on these feathers, as they are dyed over natural brown striped feathers with markings. Light colors do not cover the brown and only show up on the creamy parts.
